Philosophy of Care At Canyon Crest Assisted Living and Memory Care Community, our goal is to provide the highest quality of life for each of our residents. Our memory care neighborhood is dedicated to our philosophy of social, psychological, spiritual, and physical well being of every individual.
Life Engagement Our Life Engagement activities are designed to meet the needs of each resident. These programs are developed around each person’s specific interest, abilities, past history, and routine. Engagements flow throughout each day to promote cognitive, sensory, creative, and physical skill.
In addition, the program supports life skills, enhancing each resident’s ability for self-care. Life Engagements promotes and encourages individual activities such as setting the table, folding laundry, and arranging flowers.
By creating a familiar environment, Canyon Crest memory care encourages everyone to participate in the activities of our community; which may include visiting with children from a neighborhood school, creative arts, or reminiscing about a favorite vacation.
